When the
menu item shown in Fig1 is selected a dialog appears asking
for confirmation of the request. (Fig.2)
If the
recipe loaded in the active recipe panel is from a recipe
database another dialog appears to inform you that another
process is needed to delete a recipe from a recipe database.

Individaul
files may, of course, be deleted outside of Matrix by simply
opening the Individual Recipes folder in your Matrix folder
and using Windows to delete the file.
Deleting
a recipe from a recipe database can only be done fron within
Matrix.
