Setting the Temperature in the Matrix Window

When a recipe is entered in Matrix the temperature setting should be changed to reflect the maturing temperature of the glaze.

The temperature setting in the three environments Recipe to Formula, Formula to Recipe and Blends, determines the Llimit formula which will be displayed in the various limits graphs.

When limits graphs are displayed the temperature setting determines the limits shown on the graph.

The atmosphere is set to either Reduction or Oxidation by clicking on the button in the Tool Bar.

When Matrix calculations include the colourants in a recipe it takes note of the atmosphere setting which determines how calculations will treat such oxides as Fe2O3.

The default setting for temperature is Fahrenheit. This can be changed to Celsius in the Options (Preferences) dialog. This can be accessed by selecting the Options (Preferences) item in the Matrix menu
